DAY THREE

Yesterday started off with big Sunday morning breakfast…ok not the kind I use to eat…

but a better one…two eggs (see I told you I love eggs) with red Bell pepper, few sprigs of broccoli, pinch of shred cheese and one small scoop grits (no butter) salt and pepper.

It’s amazing how once you start eating simple, how good food taste again.

Got started back to the gym today…it’s a small 24 hour gym in downtown Petal ANYTIME FITNESS that I joined a few months ago. Went around 11:00 am did my first workout with weights in a while (if you want to call it that. Ha-ha) good news was I could join my two passions due to the beautiful weather, motorcycle riding and working-out….very nice day for a ride.

Short treadmill walk, very mild bicep and worked my back very lightly, good work-out for a first day back.

Once home I made a tuna sandwich, one pack of albacore tuna in spring water, one slice of 9 grain whole wheat bread toasted, cut in half with one half teaspoon of mayonnaise, a teaspoon of mustard and the rest of the tuna on the side.

I love tuna almost as much as I love eggs…ha-ha. Only thing that would have made it better would have been boiled eggs chopped up in it… normally I would have done that but I had to beat the 45 minute deadline of eating protein after a work…I try to live by this rule when working-out.

I ended up eating about 6 oz of sliced roast beef with a few carrots and onions mixed in around dinner time,

I left the butter filled mashed potatoes, garlic bread for the rest of the family. Later that night I got a craving so I ate some celery with peanut butter on it…Great snack…try it sometime. High in fiber, protein and the good kind of fats; as long as you don’t go crazy with the peanut butter.

Woke up this morning to a body weight of 287 LB. Only one pound lost but that was to be expected due to the muscle soreness I also woke up to…Ouch!!! I’m sure I am holding water…should take a couple of days to get over the soreness and water.

Oh, man that tuna sandwich looks good! (I am a sucker for tuna fish salad sandwiches. Heck, IMHO tuna salad and celery is pretty darned good.)

Looks like you are doin' it, buddy! Bravo!

I love tuna too. I've been substituting bread with romaine lettuce leaves for my tuna and egg salad *sandwiches*. It's actually pretty good and I don't have to worry about carbs (they stick to my ass :D)

Keep it up, Big Boy!
and have a great on track day tomorrow!
